ABOUT HIM

About HIM

A Taste of Heaven

When thousands of believers come together across generations, denominations, worship styles, and giftings, that’s a taste of heaven. HIM equips, embraces, emboldens, and encourages men, women and youth toward Christian transformation, unity, and lives that make a difference now and for eternity.

Everyday Faith
HIM’s ministry lives in those we serve. Alongside basics like prayer, worship, discipleship, and evangelism, HIM addresses hard issues like school violence, sexuality, poverty, and addictions. Leaders have been pulled back from burn-out, and new ministries birthed. Adults and youth have heard God’s call, taking the unlimited resources of Jesus Christ to the homeless in Hawaii, the AIDS stricken in Africa, the abandoned in Asia. It begins in stories like these:

>> It started one year ago around this time at the HIM conference!!! I can’t believe a year later I’m going to Kenya. God truly had a plan in mind didn’t he?
>> I am going to work full time [for a Christian project helping Hawaii’s homeless.] I am going to leap off the cliff and feel the wings beneath my feet – I know what God’s plan for me is and I have looked for this all my life. Thank you Jesus.

Our Mission

“HIM exists to equip, unify, and encourage pastors and leaders in Christian ministry”

HIM’s means for accomplishing this is through seminars and conferences held in Hawaii. Yes, that means equipping pastors and church leaders, but also Sunday school teachers, prayer teams, parents, youth, business leaders and leaders of non-profits. We don’t need high profile positions to lead. We just need to use what God has given us where we are.
