Youth speakers: Scott & Taylor Heaton
Scott Heaton
Scott is a youth pastor at Wellspring Church in North Richland Hills, TX. He is married to Taylor Heaton, who will be co-leading the youth module at Life in the Spirit.
“I am thrilled to get an opportunity to speak with the youth about how God speaks today, and I’m even more excited to watch others experience hearing God’s voice in ways they never have. I came to the Lord through a supernatural experience where he showered me with love and affection, and set the bar high for experiences that would come afterward. It has been an awesome adventure learning to cultivate my relationship with God and my hope and prayer is that our stories can stir your affections for the Lord, and cause you to deepen your level of friendship with Him.”
Taylor Heaton
Taylor is church administrator and a youth pastor at Wellspring Church. She, along with her husband, Scott Heaton, will be co-leading the youth module at Life in the Spirit.
“We are excited about sharing our stories with the youth about how God speaks to us! I came from a very traditional background and believed that God does speak through His word but only occasionally speaks in big ways, and only to important people. When I met Scott, I began going to a church (Wellspring) that actually taught that God speaks ALL THE TIME to anyone who wants to hear Him and in really cool ways! Since then I have heard God speak in so many amazing ways and have seen other people blessed by what God chose to share through ME about THEM. Sometimes it seems pretty crazy, but how cool is it that God loves us enough to talk with us on a daily basis? We are excited to share about several ways that God speaks to us today, tell some awesome stories, and help everyone discover what God is saying to YOU!”
