The HIM SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM goes back to 1983 when HIM started
While HIM has always committed to offering the best training available for churches and believers, we also are committed to making sure that those who need training receive it. The cost to receive good training should not be an obstacle.
For HIM that means getting the best faculty to teach on the most relevant topics using the most user-friendly approach to produce the most practical application and the deliver the most fruitful results at an affordable cost to participants, churches and HIM itself.
That's where the HIM Scholarship Program comes in
There are 2 parts to HIM Scholarships: GIVING and RECEIVING. Both are important. Everyone participates in both. Whenever you make a donation to HIM, you give to the scholarship program. Whenever you attend HIM, you contribute to scholarships by encouraging your fellow participants. If you speak or volunteer or work at HIM, you are part of the scholarship program creating the rich environment and soil where God scatters his seed.
The opposite is also true. Whenever we give to, attend or serve HIM, we are also scholarship recipients. The nature of God is that He is always giving - abundantly, extravagantly, mercifully. We give and receive and learn and grow with each other because we are the Body of Christ — and not as distinct, unconnected parts.
"For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others." Romans 12:4-5
Applying for a scholarship
All scholarships are partial. There are no full scholarships. They apply only towards HIM registration fees. We encourage applicants to complete the form and submit as early as possible. Scholarship forms are available online. [Download a form here]
