President and co-founder of Hawaiian Islands Ministries (HIM) with his wife Pam, Dan has been senior pastor of First Presbyterian Church of Honolulu (FPC) since 1994. Prior to that he was associate pastor with singles at Menlo Park Presbyterian Church in the San Francisco Bay Area from 1985 to 1992. He also previously served at FPC as associate pastor (1980-1985). Born and raised in Hawai’i, Dan left an early career in television broadcast journalism with the Hawai’i CBS-affliliate KGMB-TV to commit to full-time Christian ministry. Dan holds an MDiv and DMin from Fuller Theological Seminary, where he also serves on the board of trustees. Dan also has an MA in cinema production from the University of Southern California and has helped produce and direct several award-winning Christian films. Pete Greig is the founder and International Director of 24-7 Prayer, a movement of prayer, mission and justice that has reached more than 100 countries. He leads Emmaus Road Church in Guildford, UK and serves as Director of Prayer for Alpha International. Pastor Jenkins began preaching the Good News as a 15 year old. He was called as senior pastor of Union Bethel Church in King George, Virginia in 1987. In 1988, he became the seventh pastor of his home church, First Baptist Church of Glenarden, which under his biblically based teaching has grown from 500 to an average 11,000 worshiping between two campuses in Landover and Upper Marlboro, MD. He serves on a number of boards, including Bethel University, Project Bridges and The Skinner Institute. He is chairman emeritus for SMI (SHABACH! Ministries, Inc.), a 501(c)(3) arm of the church providing clothing, food, education and other resources to more than 11,000 people in the Washington, D.C. area. He was awarded an honorary Doctorate of Divinity from Southern California School of Ministry and is a licensed pilot. Mike Pilavachi heads up Soul Survivor ministries (a charity that aims to equip young people to live their lives for Jesus) as well as pasturing the associated church – Soul Survivor Watford. Mike speaks at conferences around the world, trying to make people laugh and point them towards Jesus at the same time. He has written a number of books the latest of which looks at the themes of the Bible. BLAINE “SUMO” SATO
Blaine “Sumo” Sato was raised on both O‘ahu and the Big Island. A jack -of-all trades, he has had success in his professional career as both a marketing consultant and a professional chef. But Sumo’s real passion is serving the Lord. Currently living in California with his wife and two kids, Sumo pastors H2O Community Church in Huntington Beach. He is also chaplain to the local fire department and lifeguard association. When Sumo has free time you’ll find his familiar face at the HB Pier surfing or in his kitchen creating something super ono for family or friends. Jordan Seng is lead pastor of Bluewater Mission, a creative, justice-oriented church in Honolulu, and the author of Miracle Work: A Down-to-Earth-Guide to Supernatural Ministries. He has ministered broadly through teaching, healing, prophecy and church-planting for twenty years, and has led training conferences and seminars for every major Christian denomination and numerous para-church and missions organizations in America, Europe, Latin America, Asia and the Caribbean.
