Dan Webster, Founder of Authentic Leadership Inc., will present this workshop. Dan is an author, communicator and mentor. He has over thirty years of experience working with in the areas of education, leadership development and student ministry.

Workshop Description:
Parents, youth workers and teachers are all concerned for the mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual development of the young. This workshopequips those entrusted with the development of the next generation to go one step further and help kids solve the mystery of ‘me’. Every kid’s life is a mystery waiting to be solved, not a mistake needing to be corrected. Helping a kid enter adulthood with clarity as to who they are and what they are impassioned to do is priceless for a young person. Investing the needed time and energy into this all-important task of helping our kids discover who they are so they can win in life is just plain smart.

Tony Shwartz understands student ministry. As a sophomore in high school, some friends invited him to check out an awesome student ministry and it changed the direction of his life. Those experiences and the influence of some great leadership helped Tony find Christ. Building teams to create thriving student ministry, influencing student leaders and difference-making friendships are passions that drive him. Tony works with junior high and high school students in the Fuse Student Ministry at Central Christian Church in Las Vegas, Nevada. He’s a graduate of Wheaton College and the Lake Forest Graduate School of Management. Tony and Lisa have been married for 20 years and have two strikingly handsome sons, Robby and Riley; and one little girl named Ellie, who is pretty beyond reasonable standards.

This is a wonderful preparative workshop for any parent, youth worker or teacher who cares about investing in kids. This half-day learning experience will equip adults to powerfully impact kids by clarifying the four windows through which we see kids grow and develop - Observation / Exploration / Affirmation and Revelation. Attending adults will walk away with a simple system for collecting insights that a kid will carry with them into their future.
