If you are an essential personal, a health worker who puts yourself at risk caring for the sick, a restaurant worker filling take-out orders, a grocery store clerk keeping the shelves stocked: you are brave.

If you are a public transportation driver, airline employee, USPS, UPS or FedEx driver, government worker or elected official keeping your city, town or state functioning: you are brave.

With a heavy heart, we have canceled HIM 2020 because of COVID-19. We based our decision of March 13th on the recommendations of Hawai‘i governor, David Ige, and the Hawai‘i State Department of Health. We wanted to do our part to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in our islands. We felt this was the best way to serve you and our islands.
