Erin Kanno Uehara
Erin is always on the go, constantly "running an Erin" around Honolulu, Hawai‘i. Born and raised in Hawai‘i, she is the wife of an adventurous local husband and the mother of a 9-year-old daughter and a 7-year-old son. She is also a small business owner, running her chocolate company, Choco Le‘a, while balancing roles as an author, coach, and speaker.
In her earlier career, Erin was an elementary school teacher, a professional dance instructor and choreographer, and an artisan chocolatier. She holds a bachelor’s degree in education, a master’s in business administration, and is currently pursuing a PhD in organizational psychology. Her research interests include entrepreneurship, small business, work-life balance, work teams, and leadership.
In 2018, she launched her blog as a way to share insights on food, places, and experiences in Hawai‘i, as well as work and small business tips. Through her writing, she hopes to inspire others to live life "peace by piece" and take what works for them—so they can go out and run their own errands.
